Repeat prescriptions are computerised. Please allow 3 working days notice either by posting or dropping your request into the surgery.

We are able to offer an online service for your repeat prescriptions which you will need to sign up for visiting the surgery with ID.
The system can only show REPEAT prescriptions therefore if you have some medications that do not appear on the drop down box, you will need to type in your request including the dosage, in the box provided.
If however you are requesting medication that is not listed and you do not require any of the listed ones you will need to request these items in writing.  Unfortunately we are not permitted to take requests over the telephone.
You will be required to attend surgery for a drug review with a doctor, and should you not attend after 3 requests to do so, your prescription will be withheld until you make an appointment.

For safety reasons we cannot accept repeat prescription requests over the phone.

Electronic Prescription Service.  If you currently collect your repeat prescriptions from your GP you will not have to visit the practice to pick it up - instead your GP will send it electronically to the pharmacy that you choose (nominate), saving you time.  What YOU NEED TO DO - when you are next in your nominated pharmacy please let them know and they will sign you up.  It is a very flexible service and can be changed or cancelled at ANY time.

If you require further information please visit the website on www.systems.hscic.gov.uk/eps or visit the surgery and collect a leaflet.
