Patient Feedback

We have responded to patient feedback and will be opening the surgery doors between 1-2 pm on 13th April so that patients can wait inside for their appointment.  We have also created more routine appointments by reducing the frequency of our cryotherapy and minor surgery clinics.

Work will also be carried out later this year to improve the waiting area and reception to make your experience at Lyndhurst Surgery a little more comfortable.

 Electronic Prescribing Service

The surgery is now able to send your prescription electronically to your nominated chemist. Please visit the chemist you usually visit and they will sign you up. This means you can order your prescription and then go directly to the pharmacy to collect.  Leaflets are available at the surgery with more information.

On line appointments and Prescriptions

If you would like to register for on line appointments and prescriptions please pre-register on the link opposite. You will need to call into the surgery, with photographic ID, to collect your registration sheet which will enable you to register and make appointments to see a GP, on line and now you can order your repeat prescriptions (UNFORTUNATELY WE ARE NOT ABLE TO MAKE ANY NURSING APPOINTMENTS AT PRESENT).

Off to University??

You are now able to stay registered here at Lyndhurst even if you are away at University. We are also offering Men C vaccine to those patients who are in their first year of University and to those starting in September.  Please make an appointment with our Practice Nurse.

Repeat prescriptions are computerised. Please allow 3 working days notice either by posting or dropping your request into the surgery.

We also offer an on-line service which is available on the home page. PLEASE REGISTER FOR THIS AS, EVENTUALLY, THE ORDERING OF PRESCRIPTIONS VIA THE WEBSITE WILL CEASE.

You will be required to attend surgery for a drug review with a doctor, and should you not attend after 3 requests to do so, your prescription will be withheld until you make an appointment.

For safety reasons we cannot accept repeat prescription requests over the phone.

Tuesday 17th June - The surgery is changing to EPS (Electronic Prescription Service).  If you currently collect your repeat prescriptions from your GP you will not have to visit the practice to pick it up - instead your GP will send it electronically to the pharmacy that you choose (nominate), saving you time.  What YOU NEED TO DO - when you are next in your nominated pharmacy please let them know and they will sign you up.  It is a very flexible service and can be changed or cancelled at ANY time.

If you require further information please visit the website on or visit the surgery and collect a leaflet.
